Fujifilm X-T20, the follow-up to X-T10, improves on it in every sense. The old 16MP sensor has been upgraded to the 24.3-megapixel X-Trans CMOS III APS-C sensor. The new camera has also gained a touchscreen, letting you tap to focus and shoot. It offers good set of features and specifications in a compact and beautiful design. 24.3MP CMOS Sensor
At the core of the Fujifilm X-T20, it has a 24.3MP APS-C X-trans CMOS III sensor. The new sensor and the improved image processor speeds up the X-T20. The startup time is just 0.4 seconds and shooting interval time is 0.25 seconds. As far as the autofocus speed is concerned, it is 0.06s. The ISO range has been increased to 12800 from 6400 in the X-T10. For autofocus, it uses a 91-point AF system and the focus points can be altered touching the LCD. The camera is capable of shooting 4K videos in addition to 1080p.
It has a 2.36M-dot organic EL electronic viewfinder and uses four dedicated lens elements to offer high resolution images. Thanks to the frame rate of 54.54fps, the EVF offers a smooth display. It shows the effects of Film Simulation and exposure settings in real time. The camera comes with built-in intervalometer, silent electronic shutter, built-in Wi-Fi, and an integrated pop-up flash.
Fujifilm X-T20 features a 3.0-inch 1.04M-dot tilting TFT color LCD monitor. The shooting information is displayed in the LCD information, making it comfortable to shoot both stills and videos. The LCD monitor utilizes a capacitive touchscreen panel to facilitate high-angle shots as well as low-angle shots.
The control mode allows you to capture images exactly as you see them with use of various exposure modes. The shutter speed dial, exposure compensation dial, drive dial and other controls offer fully manual operation. Then, there’s an auto mode as well. The advanced SR auto mode offers intelligent, fully automatic shooting. This mode is ideal for the situation where it is difficult to choose the right exposure settings or for quick shots.
