LG Class Is Now Official, Features 5 Inch Metal Body

LG unveils its new class mid-range smartphone called LG Class. Priced at SKW 399,300 (approx. Rs. 22,500) it will be available in Gold, Silver and Blue Back colors.

It sports a 5 inch display with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. An amazing feature of this smartphone is that it the internal storage is expandable up to a whopping 2TB via microSD card. It offers a pixel density of 294ppi and sports a curved glass design which offers a 3D-effect. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The handset measures 142×71.8×7.4mm and weighs 147 grams.

The company announced that LG Class runs Android Lollipop and features a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash. The device comes with FM radio recording features as well which features a 1W speaker. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2050mAh embedded battery.

When talking about the specifications of LG Class, it is worth mentioning that the smartphone has a 2.5D curved glass on the top of the display. The phone’s speaker is placed next to camera sensor and physical buttons are located on the back of the device. The device also comes with all sorts of software features as a part of LG’s software offering and camera features includes Beauty Shot, Gesture Interval Shot and more.

Right now, LG’s only saying is that LG Class will be sold on three carriers in South Korea. So, it’s unclear when or whether the device will make its way to other markets or not.
