Lenovo Unveils P2 and Lenovo A Plus Smartphones

The popular Chinese smartphone maker, Lenovo has showcased its P2 and A Plus smartphones at IFA 2016. It has also launched K6, K6 Power and K6 Note smartphones. The P2 and A Plus will initially be available in Europe. The Lenovo P2 is priced at EUR 249 while the Lenovo A Plus will be available at EUR 69 ($77). Lenovo A Plus

Lenovo A Plus sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with resolution of 480×854 pixels. It comes with support for 4G with VoLTE. Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek MT6580 processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM. The phone houses 8GB of onboard storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 32GB. In terms of optics, it sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front camera. The handset is backed by a 2,000mAh battery. Lenovo A Plus comes with dual-SIM support and offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It runs Android Lollipop.

Lenovo P2

The next smartphone unveiled by Lenovo is the successor to the Lenovo P1 Smartphone. This Lenovo P2 comes with a large 5,100mAh battery and also supports fast-charging. The handset features a 5.5-inch full-HD AMOLED display with resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The internal storage of the device is 32GB which is further expandable via microSD card. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The fingerprint sensor is baked onto the front of the device. It sports a 13-megapixel Sony snapper and a 5MP selfie camera. As far as the connectivity features are concerned, it includes 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS. It runs Android Marshmallow.
