A lot of speculation has been around regarding the launch of LG-made Nexus 5X and the Huawei-manufactured Nexus 6P and finally, the confirmation date of these two smartphone has come up. In line with the rumors, Google has begun sending out invites for a launch event in New Delhi, India on October 13, where the company will be launching its new Nexus devices for Indian market. The event will be attended by Rajan Anandan, Vice President & Managing Director, Google, South Asia & India. It is expected that the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow platform will also be launched.
All About Nexus 5X and 6P
The Nexus 5X by LG and Nexus 6P by Huawei have already revealed their Indian prices on Google Store. Nexus 5X (16GB) was listed at Rs. 31,900 while Nexus 6P (32GB) was listed at starting price of Rs. 39,999. Their US prices are $379 and $499 respectively.
Nexus 5X:
The Nexus 5X features a 5.2 inch screen, 12.3MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and 3GB RAM. It runs on 2,700mAh battery. There’s a Quick Charge support that provides up to 3.8 hours of charge in 10 minutes. The smartphone features slow-motion (120fps) video recording, apart from an f/2.0 aperture and 5-megapixel front-facing camera with HDR+ and a f/2.0 aperture.
Nexus 6P:
The Nexus 6P is equipped with a 5.7 inch WQHD Corning Gorilla Glass 4 display, 3GB RAM, Android Marshmallow, Qualcomm 810 processor and 3450 battery. It features a 12.3 MP rear camera with laser assisted auto focus and 8MP front facing camera. Flipkart has also come up with a teaser page for Nexus 6P.
