Prisma Filters To Live Videos
Recently, Facebook had revealed that it is working on a technology that allows users to apply filters like Prisma to its live videos. Prisma has now announced the support for Facebook Live videos with the latest update to its iOS app. Prisma is a popular photo sharing app that brings AI-powered video filters to Facebook’s Live Videos. An update to the Prisma app lets users start broadcasting via Facebook. This new feature allows one to apply one of eight Prisma filters to their live streams. The videos can be made using the Prisma iOS app and an iPhone 6S or iPhone 7.
With use of artificial neural networks, the app lets you create photos and videos that mimic a particular artist or style ranging from Picasso to anime to punk and more. Prisma app gives users the option to apply one of the eight Prisma filters to their live streams. It also gives users the options to apply filters to images, 360-degree videos, live videos and short video clips.
iPhone 6S and 7
According to Prisma, the video processing is done locally on the phone and thus only iPhone 7 and iPhone 6S will support it. Other phones are not that powerful to handle such processing.
The updated app greets you with a new ‘Live Stream’ button when you switch from photos to video capturing mode. Just login your Facebook account on the Prisma app and start using the native livestreaming feature.

In addition to integrating Facebook Live API to the app, Prisma is also working towards integrating support for GIFs, social sharing as well as reducing offline processing time. The support for live videos has not been made to Android as of now. But rest assured that Prisma engineers are working hard to make it available as soon as possible.
