Luxury watch manufacturer, Michael Kors, has announced Sofie and Grayson, the two new additions to the smartwatch range. Grayson is the newest watch designed for men while the Sofie is wearable for women. The men’s model features a completely metal case and has a sleek design. The women’s model boasts a relatively thin case as compared to its predecessors. The company is always known for providing elegant pieces and these are also no exception. Design and Look
Micheal Kors has announced these new smartwatches at the latest iteration of Baselworld in Switzerland. Sofia comes with daintier style with no bulky lugs. It features a slim and sleek watch body. Grayson is an all-metal watch body and has a full round display. It also features a rotating crown for scrolling. The watch has a sporty look and comes in different color options. These include gold-tone, black and blue ion-plate and stainless steel. Both watches come with additional interchangeable straps as well.
Specifications
The watches come with a fully round AMOLED screen but no resolution has been defined as of now. Both devices are powered by Qualcomm Snapdagon Wear 2100 SoC. They also run Android Wear 2.0 out of the box and are compatible with a variety of straps. They include features like activity tracking, alerts and have pusher buttons on the side. This allows you to handle remote selfies and control music.
This pair of new Michael Kors smartwatches goes on sale for ‘Holiday 2017.’ They will be customizable with different plating and bracelet combinations. It also offers a choice of seven straps to offer quick-release function. As far as the pricing is concerned, they will be available for purchase for prices starting at $350.
Access App
In addition to Michael Kors Sofie and Grayson smartwatches, the company also revealed its plans to update Access app features on its existing range of Android Wear smartwatches. The new version also includes My Social feature that allows the users to customize their watch faces using images from their Instagram accounts.
