Firefox Focus: Private Mobile Browser

Mozilla launches a new mobile browser for iOS called as Firefox Focus. It is dedicated to user privacy and by default blocks many web trackers. It also erases your browsing history including passwords and cookies. Though there are many mobile browsers available today, but this app is a simplified private browser that priorities privacy over other aspects. Though Focus by Firefox launched back in December 2015, but now the company has rebranded the app. The content block remains unchanged but the ability to use basic browser in conjunction with Firefox is a new addition.

Firefox Focus is an iOS based browser that has no history, no menus and even no tabs. It automatically removes all history when you shut it down. Also, you can use erase button to wipe the session sooner. This offers you more flexibility and controls.

The browser blocks tracks and keep you away from seeing that annoying and unwanted ads. The company claims that blocking tracks also improves the performance of the websites. Some websites that rely on tracking to work properly, Focus fixes that by opening such websites on either Firefox or Safari. Firefox Focus makes it easier to block tracking as compared to other options.
