Peach Is the Hottest Social Networking App

Peach is a new iOS app that has been created by Vine Founder Dom Hofmann. This messaging platform looks like Twitter, Slack and Instagram but is still different and unique. Here’s everything about this new social network and public messaging app.

About Peach

Peach effectively lets you find your friends and upload pictures, statuses, gifs and more in your own feed. The feature that makes it stand out from the competitors is that it allows users to use “magic words” to summon certain commands that appear in status updates. For example, if you type GIF in the search box, the app will load a Giphy search tool. If you type “here”, it adds your current location. This free-iOS only app has been described as “fun, simple way to keep up with friends and be yourself.”

How to use Peach?

When you first launch this app, you need to add your friends either by phone number or their username. You can swipe through the left to get your own feed which includes all updates like your pictures, text statuses and others. You can then use Peach magic words, take pictures inside the app or answer Peach’s prompts and lots more.

In the activity panel, you will see posts which your friends liked and commented on. Then, there’s a feature where you can elect to wave to your friends, cake them or blow them a kiss. A popup window allows you to choose how you want to respond from various choices.

There’s also a feature to help you think of things you can post. You just tap on lightbulb icon and will see questions such as, “What talent do you wish you had?” or “What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?”

It has been quickly taken over by celebrities like Taylor Swift, Tila Tequilla, Tim Cook and more. At present, it is only available as an iOS app for US phone numbers only.
