How to Block Game Requests on Facebook

If you are like me who is tired of receiving constant game requests by friends on Facebook? Probably yes, that’s why you are still reading this post. Well, the good thing is that it is easy to block game requests. You can get rid of all unwanted requests and invites by making small settings changes. Here, we discuss step-by-step process to turn off game notifications.

Method 1:

Blocking requests from specific friends
1) Go to Settings. You can navigate to Settings by clicking on the small inverted triangle at the top-right corner of page.

2) Now, you will see a new page. On the left side, click Blocking.

3) Now, navigate to Block Event Invites. Here, type the name of a friend that keeps on sending you game requests that you want to block. Add as many names of friends as you want.

4) Save the changes. That’s it!

You are free from receiving constant game requests.

Method 2:

Block game requests by blocking app
1) Follow the same two steps as above. Go to Settings>Blocking.
2) Now, look for section Block apps. Type the name of the app for which you want to block game requests. You are free to add as many games as you want.

3) Save the changes made. You’ll no longer receive game requests from the apps and games mentioned by any of your friend.

Method 3:

Blocking your Invites
1) Go to the Facebook App Center. Here, you can add and review your recent invitations.
2) Click on Activity. Now, click Invites.
3) You can block requests by clicking Ignore All next to each game. Now, the option to block the game will appear. Click on that and then click to block the entire game.

4) You can also click the “X” next to the Accept button to block user and game.
5) When you want to ignore all requests, click on Ignore all requests from that friend.
